ALBUMS APLENTY

The NZ On Air Phase Four Album funding scheme has been hugely successful since its inception in 2000, with 304 radio hits (and counting) from 98 completed Phase Four albums. We view the Phase Four Album funding scheme as the engine room of the local airplay campaign, with a 95% success rate of singles released from Phase Four Albums going on to become radio hits. In the next financial year 01 July 2008 to 30 June 2009 we have increased the number of albums we will fund from 20 to 25. We also managed to add an extra 6 projects to the current financial year, which enabled us to fund new albums from The Black Seeds, PNC, Ill Semantics, Streetwise Scarlet, Gasoline Cowboy and Cobra Khan.
